Cryptid

From TinWiki.org

Cryptids are or were creatures studied under the field of Cryptozoology. There are today thousands of Cryptids, many of which are similar in different aspects. Cryptids are seen all across the world, in ancient and modern times. Though many dismiss Cryptids as myths, tall tales or folklore, Cryptozoologists and Paranormal believers tend to think of them as undiscovered species, waiting to emerge, such as many cryptids in the past.

Big Three

The Big Tree cryptids are the three best known cryptids in cryptozoological history, and the most evasive. They are Yeti (Abominable Snowman) Bigfoot (Sasquatch) and Loch Ness Monster (Nessie).

Recently, there has been some controversy as to add the El Chupacabra, now the fourth best known cryptid on Earth. El Chupacabra has been sighted in South America, Central America, North America, Russia and Europe (Specificaly around Spain), making it the second most widespread of the Big Three and itself, second only to Bigfoot and its look-alikes.

The Big Three are not official, but to be officially recognized as the Fourth, El Chupacabra would need to be claimed as one by a major Cryptozoology research group or site.
