Extra-Sensory PerceptionFrom TinWiki.org(Redirected from ESP)
Extra-sensory perception (also called ESP, or sixth sense) is a term given to any ability to acquire information by means other than the commonly referenced five physical senses (sight, touch, smell, taste, and hearing). [edit] ResearchOne group known as the James Randi Educational Foundation has created the One Million Dollar Paranormal Challenge. REF offers a one-million-dollar prize to anyone who can show, under proper observing conditions, evidence of any paranormal, supernatural, or occult power or event. REF does not participate in the testing other than helping to design the protocol and approving the conditions under which a test will take place. There is also the World Telepathy Cup that holds tournaments where telepaths can test their skills and win prizes. They say that this is not a research experiment but rather a World Class Championship Tournament. The U.S. government has also been involved in telepathic research. The CIA ran a project known as MKUltra that researched mind control. The Farsight Institute is a “nonprofit research and educational institute, offering a large library of free materials on remote viewing.” They have been researching RV for more than 10 years.
