Earl Warren

Earl Warren was head of the Warren Commission. his credentials include 20th attorney general of California, 30th Governor Of California and the 14th Chief Justice of the US. When he was chief justice he made good decisions and some bad decisions these include the legal status of racial segregation, the separation of the state and the church and some civil rights issues. He also was a Republican Party Vice Presidential nominee in 1948. he lead the Warren Commission which was set up to figure out the JFK assassination.

In 1953 the president at the time Dwight D Eisenhower appointed a new chief judge his name was Earl Warren. The reason that Warren was appointed is because Dwight wanted a conservative, dwight also said -- ""he represents the kind of political, economic, and social thinking that I believe we need on the Supreme Court ... He has a national name for integrity, uprightness, and courage that, again, I believe we need on the Court".
