Earthbound souls are entities that have left the physical form but not yet moved on to the spiritual realm. These entities may be persons who died suddenly in an accident, by suicide, or by means where they do not realize they have died. Other earthbound souls may remain by choice, perhaps to comfort living loved ones. They may also stubbornly remain, choosing not to go to the spiritual realm until some unresolved issue is addressed. At times, some of these entities will remain in an effort to influence or inspire living persons.
[edit] AffectsIt they do not realize they are dead, they may remain among the living, trying to continue their physical life patterns, haunting the places they inhabited while alive. They may be able to interact with or cause changes in those environments. In places haunted by such entities, doors may be open and shut by unseen means, disembodied foot steps may be heard, objects may be moved from one place to another, and other affects.
