Elvis Presley, commonly called "The King," was an American rock and roll singer (also pop, country, and gospel). Though still disputed, he is said to have died on August 16, 1977.

History

The King began his illustrious carrer as on of the first preformers of 'Rockabilty' which is an uptempm fusion of Country and Rythem with some strong sences of Blues. mixing "black" and "white" sounds, made him popular—and controversial—as did his uninhibited stage and television performances. Some of his songs will go down as classics such as Hound Dog & Jailhouse rock, some of his old songs are being remade to fit the modern scene. Due to his amazing carrer Mr. Presley has been inducted into four music halls of fame. Elvis Presley was reportedly found dead at his Graceland estate. When he was buried, many claim that Elvis staged the death, citing that Elvis' middle name was spelled wrong on his death certificate. While it is easy to mistake Elvis impersonators for the real thing, many still believe that Elvis is alive, living out the rest of his life in solitude.

Possibility?

There was a postmortem autopsy of Presley in 1994, to confirm if his death had been caused by drugs. This is evidence that he is actually dead, no longer roaming around. It also showed that he probably did not die from usage of drugs. However, his death will probably be contested for many years to come until it is completely impossible for him to still be alive.
