An extraterrestrial vehicle (ETV) is a space ship originating from somewhere else than our planet, the Earth. There are many who believe that extraterrestrials (ETs) are visiting Earth in space ships, but the scientific community does not generally accept that neither ETs nor ETVs have been proven to exist.

Video recordings made by NASA are claimed by some people to show enormous space ships close to Earth.

There are individuals who claim to have been on board alien craft of this kind, either in relation to abduction or as part of voluntary contact.

Several mythological works are believed to be historical, real accounts of extraterrestrials using technology to move in the sky.

The Nazca Lines are believed by some to only have been made to be seen from high altitude, and that they may indicate that ETVs have been present in the area.

There exist various theories on what propulsion systems could be used to reach Earth from distant planets in the Universe. In our science, however, there is no propulsion system generally acknowledged that could make such an enormously long trek in any reasonable amount of time.
