Gatormen

From TinWiki.org

Found in the Florida Everglades, Gatormen date back to the mid-1700's and have emerged from almost every large swampland in the American southeast. Cryptozoologists think that their sightings around the swampland in varying places coincide with the Gatormens’s migratory nature. These aberrations of nature are Hybrid Beasts in the truest sense.

The Gatormen have been described as being about 5-feet long, with a child-sized torso which tapers off into a long, muscular tail - complete with stubby, gator-like legs - this creature seems to represent a physical bridge between the reptilian and mammalian genus. The body of the aquatic-hominid is said to be covered with a thin sheen of greenish scales, with webbing between its toes and fingers, and a mouth full of what has been described as "razor-sharp" teeth.

The most fascinating and perhaps frightening aspect of the Gatormen is that they apparently have the ability to reason. They are said to travel in what is described as small aboriginal tribes, have allegedly developed a rudimentary language based on howls and grunts, and have even mastered the use of basic tools. Many researchers, having investigated the Gatormen legends, think that it is more a product of modern myth than that of physical evidence, though most would agree that the thought of encountering one of these creatures in their natural habitat would be unappetizing.
