Georgia Guidestones

From TinWiki.org

The Georgia Guidestones is a monument located in the state of Georgia, USA. It consists of vertical stone slabs with inscriptions ("New Age commandments") in several languages. The monument, erected 1980, is sometimes called the American Stone Henge.

The history behind the stones being set up is partly unclear as they were paid for by what is said to be an unknown male person known only by a pseudonym. Among what the inscriptions call for is a dramatically reduced human population. The Georgia Guidestones are controversial and are seen as suspicious by, especially, conspiracy theorists. Author Mark Dice, formerly known as John Conner, has called for the dismantling of the monument. In the book " Lonesome Squirrel", Steve Fishman relates that during his stint as a mid-level Scientologist he heard it rumored that L. Ron Hubbard was the person who designed and paid for the Georgia Guidestones, with the physical location supposedly chosen because it was the landing site of L. Ron Hubbard's spaceship in a previous lifetime.
