A ghost is the spirit of a dead person that haunts the land of the living. Across the world there are stories about ghosts, but different cultures often disagree as to what ghosts are and whether they are just figments of imagination or a part of reality.
Some say that ghosts appear as shadows, orbs, full body apparitions or only as signs sometimes, such as moving objects, cold spots etc..

- One popular haunting is the Tower of London, which is reported to be haunted by:

- The Museum of Natural Science in Ottawa, Ontario is said to be haunted by the ghost of the Canadian Prime Minister Sir Wilfrid Laurier.
- It is said that the ghost of a young bride inhabits the The Banff Springs Hotel in Alberta.
The legend claims that she was descending a staircase when a gust of wind from an open window moved her wedding dress train, causing her to trip and fall to her death.
