Economics And Labour

Globalism is invoked to justify the dismantling of various barriers to trade and the movement of workers, such as excessively restrictive immigration policies, tariffs, fascist state economies, and centrally planned communist-socialist state economies. Globalization is the process through which Globalism is arrived at.

Beyond mere economics, there is a centralization of power involved in the integration of disparate nations and communities into a larger global unit. As the world's economy undergoes Globalization, there are often reactions within nation-states against it. This can take the form of opposition from labour and corporations to the removal of trade barriers and protective tariffs, or even the friction between established ethnic communities and new immigrant ones.

New World Order

Globalism is often seen as a prelude or lead up to the creation of a one world government, a one world economy and currency, and the establishment of a totalitarian world state.

Organizations such as the United Nations, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, and many other international institutions, are seen as the mechanisms through which Globalization occurs.
