Humans, or Homo Sapiens Sapiens, are the species that dominate planet Earth, and are considered the most intelligent of the species on the planet.

Some theologians and scientists postulate that all of humanity descends from two individuals from the African continent.

The human species, which is now found virtually all over the planet, is said to have three major branches: Mongoloid, Negroid, and Caucasoid.

Theories On Origin

Evidence suggests that the human species originated from Africa, but there are many different views on the origin of Homo Sapiens Sapiens.

Some, creationists, believe God created humanity by creating the first man and woman.

Others, darwinists, believe that the species developed through evolution.

Still others believe that there has been some form of intervention from extraterrestrials in the history of man kind, involving genetic manipulation to create the human species. According to Alex Collier's version, humans originate from elsewhere in the Universe, namely the star constellation called Lyra, but migrated to live in various locations, for example in the Andromeda galaxy.

Human genetic relationships to other Terran species makes it likely that the species originated on Earth. For example, humans are most closely related genetically to the chimpanzee species. Depending on the evidence considered, humans and chimpanzees are said to share 95% to 99% of their genetic information.
