Huyghe Classification SystemFrom TinWiki.orgThe Huyghe Classification System determines between the various species of extraterrestrials (ET) by putting them into clusters. The system does not give specific types, though. The classification system is divided into categories and sub-categories by appearance, speech, and other traits of the aliens involved. The basic classification system was created by American ufologist Patrick Huyghe (pronounced "Weeg"), who has investigated thousands of reports of aliens and Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs).
[edit] HumanoidThis class is the largest and comprises all aliens with basic human features (arms, legs, skin, etc.). [edit] HumanThese are Humanoid aliens that are most similar to human beings. They must be of human proportions, born with two arms, two legs, and a head. Hair does not have to be visible, nor do genitals or other features which distinguish between male and female. [edit] Short GreysThe Short Greys category contains short, two-armed, two-legged creatures with a large bulbous head or cranium, and usually two large eyes. The Short Greys are the most common type seen, as most alien abductions are reportedly by them. [edit] Short Non-GreysAny shorter humanoid that cannot be placed under the Short Greys category, such as El Chupacabras. This category also includes the 1950s Little Green Men. [edit] GiantReserved for beings taller than five feet, such as the Falkville Giant spotted by officer Jeff Greenhaw. Usually with two arms, two legs, a head, and no gender-distinguishing features. [edit] Non-ClassicAny other Humanoids that don't fit into the other categories belong here. [edit] AnimalianThis category is the second largest, containing anything with animal-like features. [edit] Hairy MammalianAliens with mammal-like features that are usually completely covered with hair. Examples are El Chupacabra, Bigfoot, and Devil Monkeys. [edit] ReptilianScaly or lizard-like beings are included in this category. [edit] AmphibianAliens which are much like frogs or salamanders, or at least similar in appearance. An example includes the Loveland Frogs, who some have theorized are actually aliens. [edit] InsectoidIncludes aliens with multiple eyes or lack thereof, multiple limbs, wings, or insect-like features. [edit] AvianIncludes aliens with bird-like or bat-like wings. [edit] RoboticMechanical aliens or seemingly mechanical, or even those with mechanical parts. [edit] MetallicIncluded are aliens with metallic or metal-like skin. An example would be the creatures sighted by Robert Taylor in 1979.
Fused within seethrough glass, much like inside of a mirror, they interact only with base functions of starship computers. It has been said Huyghe Classification humanoids to be closer related to Sphinx like forms than any other.
[edit] FleshyCyborg-like aliens with flesh parts. Robots with human or humanoid features are also included. [edit] ExoticThis class includes everything else, such as spirits, holograms, shadows or mist creatures. [edit] ApparationalGhost-like or holographic aliens are included. Shadow people or Ghosts reported by people are included if felt they are aliens. [edit] PhysicalThis category includes anything that does not fit elsewhere. Old sci-fi B-movie monsters, such as talking brains or tentacled creatures, fit in here. [edit] Relevant discussion threads |
