James Shelby DownardFrom TinWiki.orgJames Shelby Downard (13 March 1913 - 16 March 1998), probably one of the most unique and fascinating individuals to emerge from the field of "Conspiracy Theory." Downard's philosophy first entered the public psyche in 1987, when his manifesto; "King Kill/33: Masonic Symbolism in the Assassination of John F. Kennedy," was published in Adam Parfrey's outre book "Apocalypse Culture." Downard contended that the assassination of President John F. Kennedy was committed as part of a ritual working intended to alchemically process and transform the American people. Kennedy's death was considered as what is known to those familiar with Frazer's "Golden Bough" as the "The Killing of the Divine King." This alchemical working involved three stages: 1. The Creation and Destruction of Primordial Matter (achieved with the detonation at Trinity, New Mexico, 1945). 2. The Killling of the King (achieved at Dealey Plaza, Texas, 1963). 3. The Bringing of Prima Materia to Prima Terra (achieved when moon rocks were returned to earth, 1969). |
