Digit Summing

Usually Numerologists will reduce a number by a process known as digit summing. You take the sum of all of the digits of a number, and if the result is a number with 2 or more digits you add up the digits of that number; you repeat the process recursively until you arrive at a single-digit number.
For example if the number is 1996 the numbers are added together like this 1 + 9 + 9 + 6 = 25. The result is a number with 2 or more digits so the next step is 2 + 5 = 7.
