Operation HighjumpFrom TinWiki.orgOperation Highjump was launched by the countries of The United States Of America, Canada, Australia and Britain on the 26 of August 1946. The operation was headed by Admiral Richard E Byrd of the United States Navy and it is said that the project's goal was to wipe out Nazis.
[edit] SpecificsThe Government's answer to why the operation was launched are as follows:
A lot of military seacraft were deployed for the operation, which casts suspicion on government claims that the operation was launched for peaceful research purposes. The list of the United States seacraft involved are as follows:
As mentioned previously, these are the USA craft only. [edit] Strange factsThe operation was called off prematurely. The reason for this, according to some of the crew members, was that the team was overwhelmed by Nazi flying disks, most probably of the Vril and Thul variety. Another strange event about this was that Byrd himself had been speaking to American defense leaders about preparing for an invasion from aircraft that could fly from pole to pole at incredible speed. Richard E Byrd also was inquiring to the US Government about building a base at the north pole. Admiral Byrd became ill after he returned from partaking in news conferences all around the world, and when he arrived back in the US he was told not to go to any more of them. After a while he was entered as leader of Operation Deepfreeze, another Antarctic project, but oddly enough ended up dying. There are those that say he was murdered. [edit] Strange fact about Admiral ByrdAdmiral Byrd supposedly kept a diary which details him journeying to the center of the Earth via a large hole at the pole. The diary describes an exotic, lush environment with many strange creatures and inhabitants. Many "Hollow Earthers," as proponents of the theory are known, cite Admiral Byrd's diary as proof of a hollow Earth. [edit] External links
