Perseus is the tale of a greek demi-god. The tale begins with a prohecy about King Akrisios being killed by his grandson, so with this in mind Danae his dauter was locked in a bronze chamber by her father Akrisios, where she was impregnated by the god Zeus in the form of a golden shower. The result of this was Perseus but King Akrisios did not think this was good so he put them both in a box and sent them out to sea hoping to never so them again. Perseus and his mother ended up on the island of Seriphos. When Perseus had grown up and was at true strenght King Polydektes commanded him to bring the head of Medousa to him. He obtained a sword which was magical, sandals with wings and a invisable helm. he needed more so he stole a eye of the Graiai. He slew the Medousa and it is thought that out of medousa' blood that sprayed across the floor, Pegasus flew out. Perseus then rode back home with the head, btu on his travels home he saw the princess Andromeda tied to a rock as a sacrifice to a sea beast, Perseus could not let this happen and killed the beast and took the princess as his bride. When he returned to the King he showed him the head and the king turned to stone. After this he traveled to his grandfathers kingdom ready to claim his rightful throne as king. Polydektes feld from Perseus but was later killed by Perseus via a stray discus throw at some games; and forfilling the prohecy.
