PlagiarismFrom TinWiki.orgPlagiarism is passing off creative works as one's own that really were produced by someone else. Posting other people's work in this way would usually be considered immoral, and is also illegal unless the originator of the work specifically has given permission to use the material, for example by releasing the work under a licence that permits other people to distribute the work. In some cases articles and information can indeed be found for example on the web, which is published under a licence that permits anyone to distribute and publish the information freely (or under some few, specific conditions). (Information like this includes, for example, articles in Wikipedia.) However, tinWiki articles should not be "wholesale" copy&paste, even when the source is legal to copy and paste from. In tinWiki, articles should be written especially to be posted on tinWiki, and all sources should be named. Listing sources can be done in a specially designated section called, for example, "Sources" or "References".
