Project Excalibur was supposedly established to develope a weapon that would destroy alien underground base and any future underground bases the aliens might construct. Supposedly, it is to be a missile capable of penetrating one thousand meters of tufa (hard packed soil)such as that found in New Mexico with no operatyional damage. The missiles' apogee is not to exceed 30,000 feet above ground level(AGL). The impact must not deviate within excess of fifty meters from designated target. The device will carry one megaton nuclear warhead. The project is said to be ongoing at the WX Division, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Los Alamos, New Mexico, and may still be in developement.
