On September 11th, 2001, a massive well planned and coordinated series of "terrorist attacks" struck both New York City and Washington D.C., killing thousands and setting the stage for a new era in global politics. 19 Islamic terrorists hijacked 4 airliners, and tried to commit suicide attacks with them. Two of the airliners struck the twin towers at the World Trade Center. Both towers collapsed within 2 hours of being struck. In addition, several other nearby buildings were either damaged or destroyed. Besides the NYC attacks, one hijacked airliner was flown to Washington DC and crashed into the Pentagon. Another flight was crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, after the passengers staged a revolt on the plane, probably preventing another attack. None of the people on the planes survived. Excluding the 19 hijackers, 2,974 people died in the attacks. Another 24 are missing and presumed dead. To this day the twin towers have not been rebuilt.

The Pentagon sustained heavy damage. 125 people in the building were killed. The 9/11 attacks ushered the war on terror. The US created the Patriot Act, and invaded Afghanistan as a result of the attacks. The Afghani government, ruled by the Taliban, was harboring Al-Qaeda. Al-Qaeda, led by Osama Bin Laden, was the terrorist organization that funded and carried out the suicide attacks.

Introduction

The official story alleges that four planes were hijacked by a group of 19 terrorists, at least 7 of which are alive to this day,[1] managed to slip by the biggest air defense network in the world and used their planes as missiles to strike the financial and military symbols of America: the World Trade Center (WTC) and the Pentagon.

The inconsistencies plaguing the official account, as well as the government's failure to properly investigate the event, has led to independent researchers now believing that the attack was domestic and involved the US-government.

Timeline

  • At 8:45 a.m. (EDT), what the official version says was a hijacked passenger jet, American Airlines Flight 11 out of Boston, Massachusetts, crashes into the north tower of the World Trade Center. At 9:03 a.m. (EDT), what the official version says was a second hijacked airliner, United Airlines Flight 175 from Boston, crashes into the south tower of the World Trade Center and explodes.
  • At 9:43 a.m. (EDT), what the official version says was American Airlines Flight 77 crashes into the Pentagon, sending up a huge plume of smoke.
  • At 10:05 a.m. the south tower of the World Trade Center collapses, plummeting into the streets below. A massive cloud of dust and debris forms and slowly drifts away from the building.
  • Five minutes later, at 10:10 a.m., a portion of the Pentagon collapses.
  • Then, also at 10:10 a.m., what the official version says was United Airlines Flight 93 crashes in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, southeast of Pittsburgh.
  • Eighteen minutes later, at 10:28 a.m., the World Trade Center's north tower collapses from the top down as if it were being peeled apart, releasing a tremendous cloud of debris and smoke.
  • At 11:18 a.m., American Airlines reports it has lost two aircraft. American Flight 11, a Boeing 767 flying from Boston to Los Angeles, had 81 passengers and 11 crew aboard. Flight 77, a Boeing 757 en route from Washington's Dulles International Airport to Los Angeles, had 58 passengers and six crew members aboard. Flight 11 was alleged to have slammed into the north tower of the World Trade Center. Flight 77 was alleged to have hit the Pentagon.
  • Then, at 11:26 a.m., United Airlines reports that United Flight 93, en route from Newark, New Jersey, to San Francisco, California, has crashed in Pennsylvania. The airline also says that it is "deeply concerned" about United Flight 175.
  • Thirty three minutes later, at 11:59 a.m., United Airlines states that Flight 175, from Boston to Los Angeles, has crashed with 56 passengers and nine crew members aboard. It is said it hit the World Trade Center's south tower.
  • At 12:15 p.m., the Immigration and Naturalization Service says U.S. borders with Canada and Mexico are on the highest state of alert, but no decision has been made about closing borders.
  • At 1:04 p.m. in the afternoon, Bush, speaking from Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana, says that all appropriate security measures are being taken, including putting the U.S. military on high alert worldwide. He asks for prayers for those killed or wounded in the attacks and says, "Make no mistake, the United States will hunt down and punish those responsible for these cowardly acts."
  • Then, at 1:27 p.m., a state of emergency is declared by the city of Washington.
  • At 2:00 p.m., senior FBI sources tell CNN they are working on the assumption that the four airplanes that crashed were hijacked as part of a terrorist attack.
  • At 4:00 p.m, CNN National Security Correspondent David Ensor reports that U.S. officials say there are "good indications" that Saudi militant Osama bin Laden, suspected of coordinating the bombings of two U.S. embassies in 1998, is involved in the attacks, based on "new and specific" information developed since the attacks.
  • Then, ten minutes later that afternoon, at 4:10 p.m. Building 7 of the World Trade Center complex is reported on fire.
  • An hour and ten minutes later, at 5:20 p.m., the 47-story Building 7 of the World Trade Center complex then collapses. The evacuated building is reportedly damaged when the twin towers across the street collapse earlier in the day. Other nearby buildings in the area remain ablaze.
  • At 6:40 p.m., Rumsfeld, the U.S. defense secretary, holds a news conference in the Pentagon, noting the building is operational. "It will be in business tomorrow," he says.
  • At 6:54 p.m., Bush arrives at the White House aboard Marine One and is scheduled to address the nation at 8:30 p.m.
  • At 8:30 p.m., President Bush then addresses the nation, saying "thousands of lives were suddenly ended by evil" and asks for prayers for the families and friends of Tuesday's victims. "These acts shattered steel, but they cannot dent the steel of American resolve," he says. The president says the U.S. government will make no distinction between the terrorists who committed the acts and those who harbor them.

Problems with Official Account: Conspiracy Theories

Numerous inconsistencies and suspicious details have emerged from the official account of the events of 9/11. Several have been ignored by the media and the government agencies involved, or have been seemingly misrepresented. These errors in the official account have led many to question the credibility of the United States government's story.

Government Knew and Remained Passive

Some believe that the US government, having gathered enough intelligence to know who and where the attacks would hit, remained passive and simply allowed the day to take its course. They might have even indirectly aided the terrorists by insuring defense response was delayed, FBI investigations into the terrorists were halted, and perhaps indirect funding and training assistance.

Naudet Brothers Video

On the morning of September 11, Jules Naudet, a French film maker, was video taping Ladder 1/Engine 7 at 100 Duane Street, who were checking for a gas leak. At 8:46 am, American Airlines Flight 11, flying from Boston, flew overhead and crashed into the North tower of the twin towers. Naudet pointed his camera at the loud sound of the approaching aircraft, catching the impact on tape. This may seem to be an open and closed case, but there has been a swirl of controversy around these events among the 9/11 crowd. Naudet claims that his video was the result of pure luck, which is logical. 20 minutes later many photographers filmed Flight 175 flying into the South tower, but this is because they were filming the aftermath of Flight 11. Flight 11 was the first attack of September 11. Many of the holes in the official version are really left up to interpretation themselves. For example, one of the questions asked is "Why was Jules in the middle of the street filming a gas leak? Where were all the firemen?" (As apparently only 3 are visible at any one time in the clip) However it is very easy to counter that this was also a matter of coincidence.

Government Pulled Attacks Off

Some believe the hijackers were actually Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) agents in disguise on a suicide mission. Others believe that no hijackers were involved; instead, remote control systems installed in the planes allowed the planes to be remote piloted to their targets. This system is known as the Home Run System, and has been tested and developed. In fact, the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) scheduled a remote-controlled aircraft crash into a government-owned building near Washington D.C. at around 9:00am. Other intelligence may suggest that multiple people said to be on board the planes that morning we civilian contractors involved in Government Operated R/C Pilot-less aircraft testing.

9/11: Inside Job Perpetrated by Israel

Many people suspect Israel knew more about the attacks before they happened than claimed. Some even believe that Israel was directly behind the attacks themselves. They point to the large Israeli spy ring busted shortly after 9/11, the suspicious Israelis arrested in Brooklyn, and Israeli company warnings of the attacks. Some even believe it was a joint operation between the CIA and Mossad.

On 9/11, residents of New Jersey phoned police to report that there were 5 men of Middle Eastern decent filming the attacks in NYC and dancing and celebrating while documenting the events.

No Plane Theory

There are a number of people who believe that planes did not hit the WTC or the Pentagon, but instead, missiles or secret drone planes disguised to look like jetliners were used in the attacks. This is perhaps the most controversial and oft debated theory.

The documentary film September Clues suggests that television footage showing the second plane hitting was faked during a broadcast delay, and that the plane seen on the news broadcasts was simply a superimposed graphics effect. The documentary further suggests that the limited time available to fake the plane image caused a mistake where, after entering the building, the plane is showed to emerge on the other side with its nose perfectly intact.

Bankers of the Vatican

Some researchers have concluded that the Vatican, more specifically the Jesuits, ordered the attack and had their moles in the intelligence community carry them out. One of the intelligence heads that has been named as a Vatican mole is George J. Tenet, who was the head of the CIA on 9-11. Tenet was trained by members of the Jesuit Order at Georgetown University and is a well-known member of the Roman Catholic secret society called the Knights of Malta, which has been described as the militia of the Pope.
