Category

This article is currently categorized as "Conspiracy Theories" but that may not be entirely correct/appropriate for it, even though I think it does belong in that category also. I looked at the categories list but couldn't quite find what I was looking for. Maybe a new category will show up later that is even better for this article than the category it is in right now. Merging other aritcle into this one

I am moving the material from article "False Flag operation" into this one, and then making that page a redirect here. By the way, here is the contents of that page's discussion:

I suggest merge with existing page

The text of this page should be included in the existing page False Flag and made into a redirect to that page. I will be happy to do it in a short while. Optimist 07:13, 22 June 2007 (CDT)

Agreed. William One Sac 10:56, 22 June 2007 (CDT)

Neutrality

The attacks on September 11, 2001 are listed, in a matter-of-fact way, as a false flag incident. That's not really neutral -- there should be some mention that the issue is controversial and that 'some people claim it was a false flag incident', not just state that it was. The same goes for the 7/7 bombings in London.

Even though this encyclopedia has a certain focus, that only means articles should be about certain types of topics. It doesn't mean statements should be presented as uncontroversial when in fact they are. Like simply stating that 9/11 was a false flag operation. There are of course other examples of this type of issue, like if someone states as fact that there are extraterrestrials visiting the earth in spaceships or such. When there is controversy in society about topics, this should be reflected in the article, not omitted. Such omittence doesn't really serve the purpose of tinWiki as an encyclopedia.
