Talk:GoldFrom TinWiki.org[edit] Language style needs some changesThis article does not read like an encyclopedia article. There shouldn't be any "you"s and "we"s and so on, nor should there be any questions, really. An encyclopedic article should be a terribly "dry", if I can put it like that, plain text simply describing the topic at hand. The text should not be written from First Person ("I") to Second Person ("you"), but should be written from a neutral point of view. I made a quick rewrite of the article introduction. An article introduction should very matter of factly and very simply state what the topic is. A article shouldn't begin with a question, like "Have you ever thought of why...." and so on. This article is about gold. The first sentence should be: "Gold is a metal." Plain and simple. Optimist 05:01, 20 June 2008 (CDT) |
