Illuminati is a huge subject. This entry is a good opportunity for someone to put together a really good article. I haven't spent much time researching the Illuminati so hopefully someone can step forward and bulk up this page.

A spammer was here and I cannot restore the page! --Mig-17 18:32, 3 January 2008 (CST)

Mig-17, I have now restored the page to the version that came just before the spam edit. Optimist 21:01, 3 January 2008 (CST)

References needed

Some updates were done today, which look very good. Anyway, there are some statements that I feel need a references, mostly because it sounds like stuff most people would not know about, and I know I was fairly surprised to read it. Here's mostly what I'm refering to:

Jesus name, given to him by the Romans, was "Lucifer," or "the bringer of light." This "light" was supposed to be the teaching of Jesus to his disciples and to the Essene tribes of Israel. His first primary symbol, before the cross, was the inverted pentagram, a five-pointed star turned upside down

References could be made by putting in a link to a source so it looks like just a number, which is done by putting a link inside square brackets. Then of course there could, or should, be a Footnotes section below the article listing the reference numbers and naming where the links go. Optimist 06:29, 13 April 2008 (CDT)
