-What is an "Insane" Secret Society?
--Umbrax:|Sysop 10:32, 2 July 2006 (CDT)
hmm societies like Ku Klux Klan or The Hermanos Penitentes basically secret societies that are considered out there, deranged or strange by people. But i have desded to incorporate the kkk etc in a different way instead of the insane title sounds a little silly lol

A general question, article title
This may seem silly, but I am wondering why secret societies are a "term", I mean that it's written with capitals. Is it just a kind of tradition, that it just came to be a term of its own, or is it a general language thing (English is not my first language). Just curious. Optimist 13:32, 5 August 2007 (CDT)
- I think it is just a term that came about on it's own, as you said. Not really sure why. :-)

- William One Sac, thank you for replying. I have edited the case, and when doing a web search right now, it doesn't really seem that at least the first page of hits spell "secret society" with upper case "s"'s, except when the words are part of a name or possibly of a headline. I hope it's alright that I rewrote. Optimist 06:02, 3 October 2007 (CDT)
The image description
Originally the image description was "Secret Society.", which I found to be somewhat vague, and I have therefore changed the description. If it isn't known what secret society is depicted, then I feel that perhaps the right thing would be that the description should clearly state that nothing is in fact known about the picture. - I just noticed this picture and have the same questions as you do Optimist. As it stands right now it's just a picture of some rich people, in school(?) uniforms? I think ronishia is the editor who originally got the picture, but she has been gone for quite a while and I am not certain how to contact her regarding this. Maybe we should find a more definite image, or one to go with this one. Like the Templars symbol or the eye in the pyramid, etc..
