Amount of attention

I am thinking that a bleached out background color to lessen the attention the banner takes might be worth considering. My suggestion right now is something like this...

I there also simplified the wiki/HTML code somewhat, gave the icons their own colums to move them out towards the sides, plus added a margin of space above the banner (in addition to the margin below already there), which I have often thought was needed -- I have tended to insert some extra blank lines above the banner in stub articles).
