Ufologist

From TinWiki.org

A Ufologist is someone who dedicates time to the study of Ufology. Ufologists are mainly concerned with finding as much evidence as possible to either debunk or confirm a sighting. The best evidence is usually some kind of physical evidence, such as can be collected at a ufo landing site. In those cases usually soil samples are taken and tested for traces of radiation or anything else that might seem to be out of the ordinary. Some ufoligists study cases of alien abduction, and try to collect physical evidence from victims such as implants. Some researchers, such as Stanton Friedman, have degrees in science, which lends credibility to their claims, as they are expected to use the scientific method for analyzing evidence. Most researchers use the close encounter scale to rate a ufo sighting. CE-1, CE-2 and CE-3. CE-4's are sometimes used when there has been an abduction.
