Welcome to my user page. I have a great interest in tinWiki, and its parent website, AboveTopSecret.com. I originally joined ATS in 1998. At that time there were a number of static pages on a wide range of subjects as well as a small community on an ezboard message board. From there on I was hooked on the subject matter that was being presented.

In late 2005, CEO "SkepticOverlord" and COO "Springer", proposed a conspiracy and alternative topic themed wiki for ATS. Thus was born tinWiki. TinWiki started out very enthusiastically, and a lot of very interesting subjects were presented on a number of topics. However the initial success of this budding website was not to be long-lived. For a while, only myself and some spammers seemed to be interested in editing the pages. However, out of seemingly nowhere came Optimist. It quickly became apparent that he shared my vision of tinWiki. He also showed a good knowledge of the subject matter, as well as an intuitive grasp of wiki code.

Eventually I made Optimist an Editor (called a sysop), and then finally made him a tinWiki Master. Believe me it was well deserved. The improvements he has made to the site, his dedication and intelligence made it so. Once again, tinWiki was slowly starting to move forward. And thus it is progressing once again. More and more people are showing an interest in tinWiki.

TinWiki is a collaborative effort. And it is really fun. I feel a great sense of satisfaction when I make improvements to the site. Even if it is just to change a word or two, or to submit a large article, there is a certain sense of satisfaction that comes from working on it. I beleive that as we go into the future, this site's popularity is going to grow exponetially, and people like ProTo Fire Fox will be looked upon with awe as early pioneers of a wonderful source of information, free for all to use.
