Hi

Nice addition to article The bell. ::thumbs up::

I want to just mention that images should also be listed in the image description page here. --Optimist 21:08, 20 May 2008 (CDT)

Thank you Optimist, I have just shot off an email to Rob Arndt, (the source of the images), to confirm they fall under the fair use category, once I have his answer I will enter them on the image description page or, worse case scenario remove them.

Incidently I also gave him the option of editing the entry if he chose to, what would be nice is if he participated in any additional entries as he has a wealth of information on his website on alot of Germany's hardware during the second world war, you never know.

That's great, that you contacted Arndt, and it'd be great if he wants to contribute here. I hope it works out with the images, as well.
About Fair Use, here are some links that might be interesting (the first article is from Wikipedia, the other one is from the U.S. Copyright Office):
- Fair use
- Fair Use
The whole issue is probably a little complicated. Also, I have to admit I haven't read either of those articles myself, yet (I may have read the Wikipedia one, but that's some time ago, if so).
Anyway, the new Main Page layout has a list of new pages, and so there's a link to The bell now right on the front page. I really like that New pages list box.
You have made a solid and interesting addition to tinWiki. Keep up the good work. Optimist 19:27, 22 May 2008 (CDT)

I have had a reply from Rob and he says no problem with any of the content, He says he has been making entries and editing Wiki, (not TinWiki) himself for some time now, (over 100), I have made sure he is aware of TinWiki as well though.

Now off to attend to the image description.

Great. Also, to include an image in an article using the image code, here's how:
{{Image|Image=URL<br/>Image description}}
Example:
{{Image|Image=http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x44/sherpa_album/flyc.jpg<br/>Bell henge}}
The code for signing discussion posts, btw., is to type four tildes like this ~~~~. They will automatically form a signature. You can also use the toolbar, where the signing button is the second from the right. If you wish to register in tinWiki, btw., feel free to do that. Then you'll get a username and a personal user page, with discussion.
Keep up the good work. Optimist 17:19, 25 May 2008 (CDT)
P.S.
Make sure to list images in the image description page. Optimist 17:22, 25 May 2008 (CDT)
