Hey Optimist, that is a really wonderful template you have created. I really do like the colors too, there is something very soothing about them, I think! lol That is a really great job you have accomplished there, I have to admit I am a bit daunted by some of the wiki code, and I really admire your mastery of it. Earning points writing for tinwiki

Hey Optimist,

I made a post in the Board Questions Forum about earning points for writing tinWiki articles, and also for just editing existing articles in general. I will write a section on the communtity portal page also, so that people can find it here as well. I will also bump the thread I made on ATS every few weeks to remind people it's a good way to earn points. If you think I should add anything to the post, or if you want to say more yourself, please do. I think 10,000 points is pretty good for a standard article? Do you? Main Page revamp

Hello Optimist,

I went ahead and updated the main page revamp, with the version you created. It is really good. I think that some of the links can be changed in color, maybe bold a word here and there, but really it is a 100% improvement I think. I am really happy with it and I think you should be very proud of what you have created there. Now, I realize that I have been doing the "featured article" each Sunday, and I do not mind continuing to do that. I also updated the new article box with most recent new articles. I did not include two of the newer articles. One was on Varghina, because it is a stub and also a repeat article that is already well written about here. I haven't had a chance to update the most popular pages yet, but I think they are okay for now.

How would you feel about sharing responsibilities on the new board? Would you like to be in charge of updating the image of the week? Would you like to do featured article of the week? I think we can share updating the new articles as well as the most popular ones.

I think with the new articles, we should not include ones that are bare minimums, like just a couple of sentences, and definitely not repeats, which I have done now. I think stubs would be okay for the new articles, to give them exposure perhaps. What are your thoughts on this? William One Sac 16:12, 21 May 2008 (CDT)

Hello Optimist,

As I said I think the new main page looks really great. I did not notice the spaces you have mentioned between the tables, or if I have the differences are very minor to my eyes. I am using IE, which is the only browser I have on my machine at this time. As for the background color of the date, I think it should definitely be changed to the yellowish color. So go ahead and do that if you would like. Also, I think it is good for now that you take care of the "image of the week" box and I will continue with the article of the week. We can share the other duties as well. Also, if you see a change you like, just go ahead and do it. I am in agreement with you 99% of the time as it is, so just go for it! :-) Ninja!
