The The President's Commission on the Assassination of President Kennedy or The Warren Commission as it was known unofficially was a panel set up to investigate the assassination of John F. Kennedy. This panel was headed by Chief Justice Earl Warren. This commission was set up by Lyndon B Johnson on the 22nd of November 1963; its direct objective was to find out who had assassinated JFK. They ended up with a report spanning 888 pages which ended up saying that it was Lee Harvey Oswald who killed JFK alone without any help, although this is now thought of to have been a lie.
